US: Vrbo has launched a global promotions suite designed to help hosts attract a broader range of travellers through discounts and strategic pricing.
The suite is now available worldwide on Vrbo and its sister platforms, including Abritel, FeWo-Direkt, Stayz, Bookabach, and eligible vacation rental listings on Expedia.
The promotions suite currently features early booking and last-minute promotions. Early booking promotions allow travellers to book stays 60 or more days in advance, while last-minute promotions apply to bookings made zero to 30 days in advance – helping to reduce the risk of vacant nights. Both promotion types can be applied as a VRBO search filter, enabling travellers to find discounted properties more easily.
Additional features are in development, including member-only deals for Expedia Group’s travel rewards members, mobile-specific promotions targeting app and mobile users, and enhanced settings for new listings to boost visibility during the first 90 days a property goes live.
Activating promotions is designed to be flexible and straightforward, allowing hosts to customise booking windows, apply discount rates, and tailor offers to their business goals. All partners will be eligible to activate promotions.
