US: RentalGuardian by Inhabit, a provider of insurance solutions serving the short-term rental industry, has announced the appointment of Shama Dadhania as the general manager of RentalGuardian.
With more than 15 years of experience in the insurance and travel-related sectors, Dadhania has previously held leadership roles at companies such as AIG and Chubb, where she scaled insurance solutions for both B2B and B2C markets.
Dadhania is set to lead the next phase of growth for RentalGuardian by Inhabit, with a focus on creating a client advisory board [CAB] to strengthen collaboration with key partners and streamline product offerings to deliver greater value to the short-term rental industry.
Erick Sawyer, chief ethics and compliance officer at Inhabit, said: “We are excited to welcome Shama as general manager. Her leadership in building robust insurance programmes and her focus on client engagement through a client advisory board make her the perfect leader to guide us forward.”
In the meantime, Brady Stump, the founder of RentalGuardian, will continue in his role as director of vacation rental strategy with Inhabit, where he will focus on driving strategic growth initiatives across the organisation and expanding Inhabit’s market influence.

As a software company with more than 1,500 team members, Inhabit currently serves over four million units in the residential and short-term / vacation rental property management industries. Its brands include RentalGuardian, ResMan, ResidentIQ, Streamline Vacation Rental Software, Lynnbrook, ePremium and LiveRez.
Inhabit acquired LMPM, including RentalGuardian, in March last year for undisclosed terms.
