UK: Market intelligence platform Lighthouse has launched Lighthouse Data Solutions, a data-as-a-service (DaaS) platform designed for travel and hospitality businesses.
The London-based company, formerly known as OTA Insight, said the new platform aims to help destination marketing organisations (DMOs), online travel agencies (OTAs), bed banks, hospitality tech firms and investors turn large datasets into actionable insights.
Lighthouse Data Solutions features four core modules: a supply module to track real-time changes in hotel and short-term rental inventory; a pricing module to optimise rate strategies and benchmark against competitors; a demand module to analyse traveller intent; and a performance module to monitor key metrics like occupancy, average daily rate and revenue per available room.
Nir Dupler, senior vice president of data solutions at Lighthouse, said: “Too many teams are drowning in data but starving for answers. Access isn’t the problem anymore—it’s actionability and getting immediate access to all the different data points into one comprehensive, flexible platform.
“With Lighthouse Data Solutions, we’re turning complexity into clarity, helping travel and hospitality leaders win with the right strategy, while giving them the intelligence they need, when they need it, to make faster, smarter decisions.”
The platform draws on data from 16.8 million hotels and short-term rentals daily, tracks nearly 11 million global events and monitors 3,000 destinations based on forward-looking traveller searches. It also offers five years of historical booking data and a 365-day forward-looking view.
Lighthouse said early adopters, including DMOs and OTAs, have reported increases in visitation and improved conversion rates after using the platform.
One of them was Booking.com, whose senior strategy manager, Leonid Dubnik said: “The process of creating new views and building add-ons based on our particular requirements was simple and straightforward. The dashboard is easy to use, and we appreciate the support Lighthouse provides in terms of customisations.”
The launch follows a period of expansion for Lighthouse. In 2024, the company raised $370 million (£296 million) in growth investment led by KKR, and completed the acquisitions of Berlin-based HQ revenue, Belgium-based Stardekk and, earlier this month, The Hotels Network. These deals have expanded Lighthouse’s reach into distribution and marketing technology services alongside its commercial intelligence offering.
