Canada/US: Rental Escapes, the luxury villa business, announced its purchase of 600 villas across the United States, marking the largest expansion in the company’s history.
The villas will be located in California, North Carolina, Texas, Florida, South Carolina, Hawaii and Nevada.
Rental Escapes said its expansion responds to the growing demand for luxury villas and high-end travel experiences in the US.
Brian Schwimmer, the chief executive officer of Rental Escapes, said: “As more travellers seek luxurious escapes closer to home, we’ve focused on curating an exceptional collection of US properties that deliver the same level of service, privacy, and unforgettable experiences our brand is known for.”
The list of new villas includes oceanfront, city and countryside properties, catering to all types of travellers.
For example, the Mauna Lago Villa, located in Kamuela, Hawaii, offers space for up to 10 people. The oceanfront property includes an infinity pool, outdoor showers, koi pond and a full courtyard.
In contrast, the Hollywood Villa Ev1, located in Hollywood Hills, California, is designed for entertaining. The property, which sleeps 12 guests, is equipped with a movie theatre, rooftop deck, multiple flat-screen TVs, a fire pit and a built-in BBQ.
