Greece: Short-term rental property management platform Hosthub has announced that it has raised funding from Finnish venture capital firm Trado Capital.
The investment was made earlier this month and will enable Hosthub to move forward to the next phase of its growth journey. The company will use the funding to solidify its local presence in Greece, expand internationally and build a scalable outbound sales team.
It also marks Trado Capital’s second international investment to date and its first in the Greek market.
The news represents a significant milestone for Hosthub as it continues its mission to simplify the lives of property managers worldwide. The company’s software is designed to eliminate double bookings, streamline operations, and integrate with 200-plus booking platforms, offering an intuitive, reliable solution for short-term rental managers.
Founded in 2017 by Alexander Caravitis and Petros Ziogas, Hosthub offers a suite of tools that enable vacation rental owners to synchronise their property listings across more than 200 channels, manage operations and optimise revenue.
Its services include a channel manager that ensures real-time updates and a zero double booking guarantee, a comprehensive property management system, and a revenue booster to expand property listings on multiple platforms. Additionally, the Athens-based company provide a website builder for direct bookings and a booking engine to transform existing websites into fully functioning direct booking systems.
While the size of its latest fundraise has not been publicly disclosed, Hosthub is seeking to grow its position in Europe. Today, the business serves customers in more than 92 countries with a team of 30 employees across continents.
