US: HostGPO, a group purchasing organisation serving the short-term rental industry, has entered into a strategic partnership with Amazon Business to provide members with new procurement benefits.
The agreement will give HostGPO members access to discounts of up to 40 per cent on products, in addition to 50 per cent off Amazon Business Prime memberships. Members will also be able to access consolidated shipping, flexible invoicing options, spend visibility tools, and user management features.
Founded in the US, HostGPO works with short-term rental owners and operators to secure discounted rates on furnishings, amenities, cleaning supplies, and other operational items. Amazon Business is an online procurement service that enables registered businesses to purchase commercial products and services.
HostGPO chief executive and founder Jeff Iloulian said the partnership would help members source last-minute and hard-to-find items more efficiently, complementing the company’s existing agreements with more than 60 brands.
The partnership follows HostGPO’s continued expansion of supplier agreements in the vacation rental sector, aiming to streamline purchasing processes for property managers and hosts.
