Finland: Vacation rental property management software company Hostaway has launched AI Auto Reply, a native generative-AI tool designed to instantly create personalised responses to common inquiries.
AI Auto Reply pulls together reservation information, listing details, guest conversations histories, and custom host instructions to generate instant, tailored replies.
Hostaway says property managers remain fully in control, with options to review messages or fully automate replies with built-in safeguards ensuring accuracy and compliance. Unlike other AI solutions that rely on generic data, AI Auto Reply leverages Hostaway’s platform data to ensure “highly accurate, contextually aware responses”. AI Auto Reply requires no additional setup, training, or external plugins, says the company.
The launch follows Hostaway’s $365 million funding round in December 2024, “further reinforcing its ongoing commitment to accelerating innovation and continuously expanding its AI-driven solutions”.
AI adoption among Hostaway’s customer base has risen 170 per cent year‑on‑year, and usage of its AI features has tripled since the start of 2025. Applications from AI‑focused partners to join Hostaway’s marketplace have gone up 120 per cent in the last six months.
Hostaway says demand for the new AI Auto Reply feature has been “exceptionally strong”, with an early access waiting list filled within days and new customers being onboarded weekly throughout Q3.
