US: Holiday property rentals company HomeToGo has launched a beta version of its AI Filter product, the latest step in the company’s strategy to build a fully AI-powered marketplace for vacation rentals.
Available in the filters menu on HomeToGo’s website and app, the tool enables travellers to create personalised search filters using natural language. Users can describe what they are looking for in their own words – such as “hardwood floors”, “outdoor shower” or “pizza oven” – and the AI classification technology will match them with tailored rental options.
The tool is also designed to enhance visibility for HomeToGo’s partners by highlighting listings with specific features that travellers are actively seeking. Early testing in the German and US markets has revealed demand for attributes including game rooms, saunas, fenced yards, king beds, golf carts, double vanities, exposed brick walls, pools with sea views, and outdoor televisions.

The launch of AI Filter follows the introduction of other AI innovations from HomeToGo, including AI Sunny, its conversational travel assistant; AI Mode, its travel planner; and tools such as Smart AI Reviews and Smart AI Offer Summaries. Together, the suite of technologies is designed to streamline the search and booking experience for travellers and lay the foundations for a fully integrated AI travel companion.
HomeToGo’s AI Filter is currently available in beta to select users in the German and US markets, with a wider rollout planned later this year.
