Germany: Vacation rental group, HomeToGo, has announced strategic changes to its leadership division following its acquisition of Swiss tourism company Interhome.
The company said the acquisition strengthens its position across the vacation rental value chain by giving it more direct touch points with guests during their stays. Its B2B arm, HomeToGo_PRO, is now the group’s largest business unit.
As part of the move, HomeToGo has appointed Stephanie Frenzel to the Group Management Board as chief people officer. Frenzel, who joined the company in 2024 as director of people and organisation, will oversee the group-wide people strategy, including talent acquisition, team development and the implementation of HomeToGo’s leadership principles. She brings more than 15 years of experience to the role.
Meanwhile, Dominik Schwarz returns to HomeToGo as managing director of the HomeToGo Marketplace. Schwarz, who first joined the company in 2015 as vice president of marketing and communications, will be responsible for operational efficiency, sustainable growth and profitability.
HomeToGo described the appointments as aligned with its evolved vision, Unlocking Better Stays, which reflects its aim to connect travellers with accommodation while providing hosts and partners with the demand and technology needed to grow their businesses.
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Berlin, HomeToGo operates B2B software and service solutions through HomeToGo_PRO and an AI-powered consumer marketplace with more than 20 million vacation rental offers across 30+ countries.
