US: Vacation rental company Casago has appointed a new franchise partner, Casago Unwind, to manage more than 50 former Vacasa properties in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Led by local residents Edward and Michele Johnson, Casago Unwind will oversee day-to-day operations with full support from Casago’s national systems.
The Johnsons bring deep ties to the region: Edward grew up in Coeur d’Alene, while Michele hails from nearby Montana.
The initiative follows Casago’s acquisition of Vacasa earlier this year and aims to maintain continuity by potentially retaining members of the existing Vacasa team during the transition.
Steve Schwab, Casago CEO, said: “Edward and Michele are exactly the kind of local leaders we want representing Casago. They know this market, they care about this community, and they have a vision for raising the bar on vacation rental management in Coeur d’Alene. By giving them the tools and support of our national platform, we’re ensuring homeowners and guests get the best of both worlds: local expertise and global standards.”
Michele Johnson, co-owner of Casago Unwind, said: “We’re excited to bring a fresh start to vacation rentals in Coeur d’Alene. Our focus is on creating stays that guests remember and giving homeowners confidence that their properties are well cared for. Casago gives us the backing to grow while keeping things personal and local.”
