US: Alternative lodging and outdoor hospitality brand, AutoCamp, has appointed Bryan Terzi as its new chief marketing officer.
Founded in 2013, AutoCamp is seeking to “revolutionise” alternative lodging by blending the spirit of the nostalgic camping experience with the service and design of a boutique hotel. As the exclusive hospitality partner of US caravan brand Airstream, AutoCamp offers premium Airstreams as well as additional accommodations ranging from spacious cabins and petite home-inspired suites to luxury tents.
Terzi joins AutoCamp having accumulated more than two decades of global marketing expertise, including leading a number of renowned urban hospitality brands.
In his previous role as group vice president of marketing at hotel and restaurant management company, Sage Hospitality, he was responsible for delivering strategic marketing campaigns for a diverse portfolio of over 60 hotels and 40 restaurants. During his tenure, he launched 12 new hotels, repositioned three existing restaurants and spearheaded the creation of a new CRM program.
Prior to that, he served as vice president of marketing at Relevant Group, introducing upscale culinary concepts to Hollywood’s entertainment district.
Terzi’s professional journey also includes working at Sydell Group [the creators of hotel brands such as NoMad, LINE and Freehand], as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, MGM, Thompson Hotels, and sbe Entertainment.
In his latest role at AutoCamp, Terzi will direct his expertise towards promoting wellness and advocating for the benefits of outdoor travel, in addition to spearheading the company’s ongoing expansion and enhancing the outdoor hospitality experience.
The news follows the appointment of David DiFalco as AutoCamp’s chief operating officer [COO] in January.
Meanwhile in February, global hotel brand Hilton announced a partnership with AutoCamp to expand its inventory into the outdoor hospitality segment. As a result, Hilton guests will have the option to book custom ‘Airstreams’, cabins and luxury tents in national parks and nature-based destinations on the hotel company’s direct channels over the coming months.
Hilton Honors loyalty members will also be able to earn and use their points on stays, as well as enjoy exclusive, members-only benefits at AutoCamp locations. AutoCamp destinations that will be available through the Hilton partnership include: Russian River; Yosemite; Cape Cod; Catskills; Joshua Tree; Zion; Asheville; Sequoia; and Texas Hill Country [from early 2025].
