Exclusive Resorts takes stake in Accor’s Onefinestay

US/France: Luxury travel club Exclusive Resorts has taken a significant minority stake in Onefinestay, the high-end private rental brand owned by global hotel group Accor.

The strategic agreement, announced this week, will give Exclusive Resorts members access to a curated selection of Onefinestay’s homes, while providing Onefinestay with access to a new, affluent member base. The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

Onefinestay, which offers professionally managed luxury homes, villas and chalets with hotel-style services including concierge and housekeeping, has been part of the Accor portfolio since 2016. However, Accor later partially wrote down the value of the brand as it faced challenges scaling the model.

The partnership comes as demand continues to rise for trusted luxury vacation rentals, with travellers seeking the comfort of private homes alongside premium service standards. The collaboration marks a strategic move by both companies to capture this growing market.

Accor said the agreement allows it to retain a majority stake in Onefinestay, while leveraging Exclusive Resorts’ experience in managing luxury travel memberships.

Exclusive Resorts, which offers its members access to over 400 private residences and exclusive experiences worldwide, said the partnership was in response to growing demand from members for more high-end property options in global destinations.

The move also signals continued interest in the short-term rental market from hotel companies looking to balance risk while tapping into growing leisure and family travel demand.
